Calvary Evangelical Church of Van Wert, Ohio is seeking an individual to join the CEC staff. We are looking for a team player who will help us as we develop our Children’s ministry and community relations. CEC is a contemporary staff driven church with elder oversight. CEC is a non-denominational church that holds to the scripture for its practice. We offer two styles of worship - a blended service and a contemporary service reaching 550+ people each week. We are a church who understands our DNA and are beginning to function within our DNA. Our mission statement that drives our ministry is simple…CEC exists to encourage individuals to Love God, Love Others and Serve the World. It is our desire that each ministry we have create a flow that moves people to maturity in Christ using this structure.
We are seeking an individual who will bring vision to train individuals, develop and implement a Children’s Ministry focusing on developing a Jesus lifestyle in the kids. This individual will have the responsibility to develop the children’s ministry as he/she is gifted. The individual will also have the freedom to lead us in developing a ministry that is kid focused.
The community relations aspect of this position is not to create programs. Rather, we are looking for someone who will help our people engage in the community. It is our desire to be a light in our community that will point people to Christ through our good works.
