Athletics
Bowling — We have a men’s team that bowls on Monday nights through the school year
Golf — We have an annual golf outing in September at The Woods Golf Course
Softball — We have one team (Calvary White) that plays on Monday nights from May through July
Volleyball — We have two women’s teams that play on Monday nights from May through July
Audio Visual
This ministry provides the equipment to assist teachers and bible study leaders with TVs, VCRs, DVD players, overhead projectors, puppets, etc. to enhance their teaching.
Calvary Care
This is a ministry whose purpose is to strive to meet some of the tangible needs of our church family and community by serving in areas of home repair, auto maintenance, yard work, housework, provision of meals, and provision of transportation for errands and doctor appointments.
Library
The library is open prior to service times for individuals to get books for study or for enjoyment.
Men’s Ministry
We have men’s small group studies, participate in Promise Keepers events, and host special events for men.
Parish Nursing
This is a service that is offered free of charge to anyone in our church and our community in need of medical and spiritual support. A registered nurse is available to meet with individuals either at home or the church to assist with medications, explanation of diseases and treatments, available community resources, and to pray with you about your physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. The focus of this ministry is to promote health for the whole person: physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Senior Adults
This ministry hosts periodic day trips, events, and fellowship meals for adults ages 60 and older.
Small Group Studies
We have studies available for college and career-aged young adults as well as topical studies prepared for both men and women.
Women’s Ministry
Funeral Dinner Preparation — This ministry provides a meal for families following a funeral service.
Gardening — This ministry is for both men and women who enjoy gardening. They plant and care for plants around the church.
Kitchen Crew — This ministry cleans the kitchen each month and keeps the utensils ready for use for church events and ministries.
Life Support — This is a ministry to women who are dealing with the loss of a spouse through death or divorce.
Missionary Circle — Mary Circle meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00pm. Martha Circle meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the afternoon. The purpose of both circle groups is to support the ministry of missions through financial support, guest speakers, prayer, and fellowship.
MUMs — This is a ministry of encouragement and instruction for mothers of young children, meeting at 9:00am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning of each month from September through May. Child care is provided.
Quilting — This is a ministry of fellowship and instruction for women who enjoy quilting or who would like to learn how to quilt. They meet at the church on the ___ Saturday of each month.
Small Group Bible Studies — There are several studies that take place throughout the year, some meeting in homes and some at the church.
Spring Tea — This is a fellowship event designed to touch a woman’s heart. It takes place on the 1st Saturday of May.
Stamping for Missions — This is a ministry for women to make greeting cards and notes for missionaries to use, meeting on the 1st Thursday of each month.
Women Alive — This annual, one-day fall event draws hundreds from our community and area, and is designed to motivate and challenge women spiritually through nationally-known speakers and musicians.
