AWANA
This ministry meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year and is brimming with life enriching experiences for children whose parents appreciate the value of wholesome peer group influence. AWANA provides consistent, positive teaching every week and training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values. Kids learn about the reality of God, the truth of the Bible and the respect for our nation’s freedoms. This ministry consists of game time, handbook time and council time with special events throughout the year.
Children’s Summer Camp
In less than 2 hours, elementary children can arrive at Michigan’s Camp Michindoh. The finest in accommodations, sports facilities, beach and boating activities, indoor and outdoor amphitheaters, and a winding water slide through the trees await your child’s arrival. Children’s Sunday School
This ministry supplements the family in their efforts to lay a solid foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead a child into an initial and growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Age appropriate and graded classes for children ages 2 through grade 6 with biblical curriculum to which a child can relate, assist us in this goal.
K.I.D.S. Church
Kids In Divine Service is an exciting, action-packed, fast moving program for elementary children during the Modern service. Focus is given to a specific Biblical truth and illustrated in a multitude of media that not only teach and entertain but also challenge the children with weekly commitments. Great emphasis is placed upon the application of truths learned to everyday life. Easy to follow curriculum is provided. Help is needed in this ministry. Kinderchurch
Preschool children enjoy learning to worship on Sunday mornings while adults are experiencing worship during the Modern service. Story time, music expression and worship, recreation and hands-on activities featuring art, science and cooking are a part of this action packed ministry.
Lambs
This ministry also meets during the Modern service and is for our little “lambs” ages 2 to 3 years of age. Bible story, snack, game time, art, hands on activities and music are a part of this ministry.
Nursery
Quality loving care in safe, clean facilities is our aim. Our desire is for parents to be able to attend the church’s programs and worship services confident that their infants and toddlers are provided with the very best attention. Our goal is to reflect Christ’s love to our little ones. Help is needed for Wednesday evenings and Sunday school.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a unique 5 day summer ministry designed especially for children who have completed Kindergarten through the 6th grade. Daily Bible lessons are reinforced throughout the day with other activities including: recreation, crafts, music, skits and the always anticipated “unexpected”.
