AWANA
This ministry meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year and is brimming with life enriching experiences for children whose parents appreciate the value of wholesome peer group influence. AWANA provides consistent, positive teaching every week and training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values. Kids learn about the reality of God, the truth of the Bible and the respect for our nation’s freedoms. This ministry consists of game time, handbook time and council time with special events throughout the year.
Children’s Summer Camp
In less than 2 hours, elementary children can arrive at Michigan’s Camp Michindoh. Children’s Sunday School
This ministry supplements the family in their efforts to lay a solid foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead a child into an initial and growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Age appropriate and graded classes for children ages 2 through grade 5 with biblical curriculum to which a child can relate, assist us in this goal.
Kidmo
Our Kidmo program is for children in grades 1-5 and meets during the Modern Worship Time. KIDMO is not about information, but transformation. Not just biblical stories, but a biblical worldview. We strive to teach God’s truth in ways that impact a child’s choices and actions. Creativity and imagination are precious resources for penetrating their language and culture. Kids must be needed, valued, and connected. Their church experience must be relevant to their daily lives. Kids have time, availability, and enthusiasm to accomplish great things for His Kingdom. A kid’s day-to-day existence is not side tracked by many of the complications that distract their adult counterparts. By teaching them to develop a biblical worldview, we can ignite an awakening that will impact generations to come. For the same reason that Jesus gave his attention to kids, we believe kids grow best when nurtured by loving mentors and teachers.
Lil’ K
LIL’ K provides a fun and simple way to reach preschoolers with the transformational truth of God’s Word. Through creatively taught Bible stories on DVD and active learning, preschoolers can begin to realize that church is fun and God’s love for them is real.
Nursery
Quality loving care in safe, clean facilities is our aim. Our desire is for parents to be able to attend the church’s programs and worship services confident that their infants and toddlers are provided with the very best attention. Our goal is to reflect Christ’s love to our little ones. Help is always needed for Wednesday evenings and Sunday school.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a unique 5 day summer ministry designed especially for children who have completed Kindergarten through the 6th grade. Daily Bible lessons are reinforced throughout the day with other activities including: recreation, crafts, music, skits and the always anticipated “unexpected”.
