Alternating every other year, the Music Department uses seasonal productions and/or dramatic musicals, including “33 A.D.” (Passion Play), and Christmas Pageants as an outreach to our community, as well as bringing to the believer the reality of Christmas and Easter. This ministry is open to all ages, and incorporates drama, choreography, lighting, sound, costuming, props and set construction design.
Costume and Make-Up
This vital ministry is in support of our musical productions throughout the year. Whether sewing costumes that will be needed in advance of the musical, or applying make-up, and adjusting costumes for those involved during the musical, these “backstage helpers” are indispensable to the musical ministry.
Set Design / Construction
This important ministry is responsible for constructing, painting, and decorating the sets for musical productions throughout the year. No experience is required for joining this crew. Those involved in this ministry join the team of musicians, drama crew and technical support to create a musical presentation that truly brings glory to our Lord.
Prop Design / Decorating Team
This group works to transform the Sanctuary and Foyer into a beautiful and festive statement that “Jesus Is The Reason We Celebrate!” Whatever the occasion, this team uses their creativity to glorify God through decorative beauty in our church, as well as create props to enhance the Sunday Morning Sermons.
