Pray for 1 year old Matthew whose mother is in Iraq. His father has gotten in trouble and is now in jail. Pray for Matthew to be placed in a good Christian home until his mother returns.

Bernie Berelsman, Karen Fegley’s nephew has a critical staff infection in his knee and lower leg. The strain of infection is still unknown and has yet to be diagnosed correctly (they just ruled out MRSA). He is critical and in excruciating pain. He is being treated very aggressively with available antibiotics and is having a lot of difficulty getting the right treatment and medicine. Please pray that the doctors will have wisdom to know how to treat him.

Please pray for my husband Jeff. He has been at Lutheran Hospital since September 14. His stomach and his small bowels ruptured. He went into septic shock. His kidneys have failed and his stomach and bowels are not working.

Pray for Ron Kessler as he is in excruciating pain from battling an unknown virus attacking his leg and hip (possibly shingles). Pray for clarity in diagnosis and treatment of this issue.

Please pray for Betty Thompson who is now in Lutheran Hospital. Betty recently received two stints to help relieve heart problems. Yet she has a hole in her heart which needs to be addressed in the near future. Also pray for her daughter Julie and son Rob to receive God’s gifts of peace, comfort, strength and traveling mercies as they travel back and forth from Van Wert and Ft. Wayne.

Pray for Eileen Egley as she recently had hip replacement surgery and is in Parkview Hospital. Eileen will hopefully come home sometime this week and will have an extended period of therapy and rehabilation.

PRAISE THE LORD for the Bible dedication that took place on Sunday, August 12th in Costa Rica. There were between 800-1000 in attendance and Bibles in the Bribri language are now in the hands of many of the Bribri people. Praise the Lord for His word in print in the Bribri language.
Please pray now that His word will be read and that it will eternally impact their lives. Pray for the Bribri pastors as they minister in the churches.
